If you would like to receive a physical copy of the Volume One of Selected Writings or Volume Two of Selected Writings for your enjoyment and to share with friends and family, please email retirees.assoc@mit.edu with your request. Copies are available and free of charge for Association members!

The Nita Regnier Memoir Writing Group first debuted their stories from Volume 1 on November 18, 2020 via Zoom. The recording of this event can still be seen on YouTube. Viewers enjoyed five engaging stories from Nancy DuVergne Smith’s memories of her last volunteer gig at MIT's Commencement before retirement in 2018 to Lucy Wilhelm’s 1972 trip through the Iron Curtain.

In 2022, we brought out even more inspiring and time- and space-transcending memoir stories from our talented colleagues, and gathered over Zoom to hear snippets from the collected works featured in Volume 2 of the group's Selected Writings. Please view our recording of the Volume 2 reading on YouTube; you'll be glad you did!

Lastly, we are so pleased that one of our members, Ron Latanision, has finished publishing his memoir work for his grandchildren and other family and friends! Ron has graciously welcomed us to host his story on our site. Please enjoy "Growing Up With Anthracite Roots" by Ron Latanision.
